  1. Streamlining Diagnosis & Treatment: Early diagnosis and treatment of HIV are crucial. QI projects can identify bottlenecks in the testing process, streamline workflows, and ensure that patients receive timely treatment.

  2. Enhancing Medication Adherence: The effectiveness of antiretroviral therapy (ART) hinges on consistent adherence. QI initiatives can create systems to track and improve adherence rates, possibly through reminders, counseling, or community support programs.
